Metals

Choosing the right metal is only half the decision. The real cost driver is matching the right material with the right process. BGCNC helps industrial buyers select aluminium, stainless steel, carbon steel, alloy steel, tool steel, titanium, nickel, brass, bronze, copper, magnesium, zinc and cobalt — then routes each project through CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, die casting, forging, stamping or surface finishing for the most economical result.

Material Selection and Process Selection Decide Your Total Cost

Metal parts are rarely expensive because of the raw material alone. Cost is created by the combination of material, geometry, tolerance, volume, tooling and finishing. A part that is economical in aluminium at 50 pieces may be far more economical as a zinc or aluminium die casting at 5,000 pieces. A stainless steel bracket may be cheaper as a laser-cut and bent sheet metal assembly than as a fully machined block.

BGCNC evaluates each project across design, material, volume, tolerance, tooling, unit cost, lead time and product lifecycle. Our engineers tell you when CNC is the right answer, and when forging, die casting, stamping, extrusion or investment casting would deliver the same function at a lower total cost.

Because we work with 50+ proven manufacturing partners selected for different material and process specialties, we are not limited to one factory's equipment list. We match the metal and the process to your project instead of forcing your project into a fixed capability set.

What We Evaluate for Every Metal Project

  • 01Is CNC the most economical process for this material and volume?
  • 02Would die casting, forging, stamping or extrusion be better at higher quantities?
  • 03Can the design be simplified to reduce machining time and cost?
  • 04Are tolerances tighter than the function actually requires?
  • 05Can the alloy or surface finish be optimized for cost and performance?
  • 06How do tooling investment and unit cost balance across the product lifecycle?

One Partner Across Metals and Manufacturing Processes

Instead of managing separate suppliers for aluminium machining, stainless steel fabrication, titanium turning, brass precision parts and die cast housings, you work with one BGCNC team that coordinates engineering, suppliers, production, quality and delivery.

Al

Lightweight Metals
