Process and capacity
The right milling setup depends on the part
CNC milling uses rotating cutting tools to remove material from a fixed or repositioned workpiece. It can produce flat faces, pockets, slots, holes, contours, and other drawing-defined features in metals and plastics.
A part that can be machined in one or two secure setups may need less handling than one requiring repeated repositioning. More axes can improve access to multi-face features, but 4-axis or 5-axis machining is not automatically the lowest-cost choice. Our engineers review the geometry and production needs before recommending a route.
3-axis
Accessible features
A practical option for many plates, pockets, and components with features accessible from standard directions.
4-axis
Additional access
May help reach features around a part while reducing repositioning, depending on geometry and workholding.
5-axis
Complex multi-face work
Can suit complex angles and multiple machined faces when the overall machining plan supports it.
Cost and lead time are shaped by
Material, feature geometry, tolerance, surface finish, quantity, setup count, and inspection requirements.
Capacity matched to your project
BGCNC is based in Dongguan and selects from a core network of proven partners according to equipment, capacity, and project complexity.
Parts and applications
Parts we help buyers source
We support custom mechanical components for equipment builds, product development, and repeat purchasing.
Complex cavities and pockets
For equipment housings, fixtures, and instrument bodies.
Plates and panels
With machined faces, mounting patterns, slots, and counterbores.
Brackets and supports
For robotics, automation systems, and industrial equipment.
Housings and enclosures
With accurate interfaces, bores, or multiple machined faces.
Multi-face components
Where setup planning and feature access affect cost and consistency.
Prototype to production
From early product development to low-volume and repeat orders.
Coordinate more than milling
Projects can combine milled parts with turning, sheet metal fabrication, finishing, assembly, or other processes. You work with one BGCNC team while we coordinate the relevant suppliers.
Engineering review
DFM that focuses on real cost drivers
Our manufacturing engineers review drawings for manufacturability, setup strategy, and cost opportunities. We focus on changes worth discussing, explain possible effects on cost or lead time, and leave any design change subject to your approval.
Material, tolerance, and finish matter together
Material affects machinability, cutting time, tool wear, and finishing options. Tight tolerances can increase machining and inspection demands, so tolerances should reflect how each feature functions in the assembly. Tell us which faces are functional or visible and include finish specifications in your RFQ.
Final capability depends on geometry, material, selected supplier, and inspection plan. We can flag unclear dimensions and discuss whether a tolerance can be relaxed without affecting performance.

Project coordination
From supplier match to delivery
BGCNC has broader access to thousands of manufacturing sources in China, with a core group of more than 50 proven partners built through real project cooperation.
Partners are evaluated for capability, quality consistency, delivery performance, responsiveness, engineering support, and problem solving. We match each project to the requirements rather than relying on a single default factory.
01 · Review
Understand the part
Review geometry, material, tolerances, volume, delivery needs, and setup-critical details.
02 · Match
Select suitable capacity
Coordinate with a proven supplier whose equipment and capacity fit the project complexity.
03 · Manage
Coordinate execution
Support technical communication, production progress, inspection, and delivery.
Quality systems and documentation
If your project needs a particular quality system, material traceability, or inspection documentation, we can identify suitable partners and confirm the available scope. Certifications such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100D, and ISO 13485 are held by manufacturing partners where applicable; availability depends on the partner selected and the work involved.
A good fit
For overseas B2B buyers of custom parts
Best suited to companies that value communication, quality, delivery reliability, and total cost—not just the lowest unit price.
- Robotics, automation, electronics, instrumentation, and industrial equipment
- Machinery BOMs with plates, brackets, housings, shafts, and related components
- Product development from prototype through low-volume production
- Multiple SKUs or processes that need supplier coordination
- Repeat orders where consistent requirements and production management matter
May not be the right route
When another sourcing model fits better
Our service is less suited to one-off hobby orders, buyers seeking only standard catalog parts, or extremely high-volume production of a single part that is better served by a dedicated mass-production setup.
