Multi-process EV manufacturing
Custom Electric Vehicle Parts Manufacturing
BGCNC helps EV, battery, charging, thermal management, and test-equipment companies source custom parts through one coordinated manufacturing partner. We match each component to the right process across a network of 50+ proven manufacturing partners in Dongguan and the Pearl River Delta.
Our capabilities cover CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, injection molding, die casting, extrusion, forging, stamping, surface finishing, and assembly — useful when an EV bill of materials combines aluminum structures, heat-dissipating parts, copper conductive components, formed sheet metal, and molded plastics, each with different production requirements.

Parts and processes for EV programs
We support custom components for vehicle, battery, charging, thermal management, and testing applications. Final material, process, and inspection requirements depend on the part design and application — we work from your drawings and specifications rather than assuming one process or material is right for every component.
Aluminum structural parts
Brackets, mounts, housings, plates, frames, and machined components.
Thermal management parts
Heat sinks, cooling components, housings, and other parts designed to support heat transfer.
Copper conductive components
Busbar-related parts and other custom conductive components manufactured to customer drawings and specifications.
Sheet metal parts
Covers, panels, enclosures, brackets, and formed or welded assemblies.
Plastic components
Custom housings, covers, insulators, and other molded or machined parts.
Test & charging equipment parts
Fixtures, frames, panels, housings, and precision mechanical components.
Match the process to the part — not the factory
A complex EV BOM rarely fits one manufacturing process. We select production resources according to material, geometry, tolerance, quantity, quality requirements, lead time, and target cost.
The best route can change as a program develops. CNC machining or 3D printing may suit prototypes and early validation, while molding, stamping, die casting, or forging may become more economical at higher volumes. We assess the trade-offs — tooling investment, unit cost, production quantity, and lead time.
| Part requirement | Potential manufacturing routes |
|---|---|
| Precision aluminum or copper geometry | CNC milling, turning, or multi-axis machining |
| Lightweight housings and structural parts | CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, die casting, or extrusion |
| Conductive or thermal components | CNC machining, stamping, or other suitable processes based on the design |
| Formed panels, brackets, and enclosures | Laser cutting, bending, welding, and finishing |
| Repeat plastic components | Injection molding and tooling; plastic machining or 3D printing may suit earlier stages |
| Parts requiring mixed operations | A coordinated combination of forming, machining, finishing, and assembly |
One point of coordination for a multi-process BOM
Managing a collection of specialist suppliers can add work for engineering and purchasing teams — especially when a project combines machined metal, formed sheet metal, molded plastic, and secondary finishing.
We provide one BG CNC team to coordinate supplier matching, engineering communication, production follow-up, quality requirements, and delivery. Our core network includes 50+ proven partners selected through real project cooperation, evaluated for capability, quality consistency, delivery performance, responsiveness, engineering support, and production capacity.
This model helps us match each part to a suitable supplier rather than forcing every component into the capabilities of a single factory, and can simplify communication when a BOM includes multiple processes or suppliers.
What our 10 manufacturing engineers review
Each with more than 10 years of industry experience.
- Whether the specified process is suitable for the design and volume
- Whether geometry or secondary operations can be simplified
- Whether tolerances or finishes can be adjusted to meet the functional need more economically
- How material and process choices affect weight, cost, and manufacturability
- Whether a prototype-to-production process change may make sense
We make recommendations for your review; final design and application decisions remain with your engineering team.
Supporting lightweighting, thermal, and cost objectives
EV components often need to balance weight, heat transfer, conductivity, strength, manufacturability, and cost. We help evaluate those trade-offs in the context of the part and its production volume.
An aluminum component may be machined for a low-volume build and assessed for a different production route as demand grows.
A thermal part may require a particular geometry, material, and finish that influence both process selection and cost.
Copper components may need careful coordination of material, machining or forming, and inspection requirements.
We do not assume that lightweighting or a lower unit price should come at the expense of functional requirements. Provide the critical characteristics, material specifications, and inspection criteria, and we’ll use them to guide supplier selection and manufacturing review.
Quality requirements and documentation
Quality requirements vary by part, program, and application. Depending on your needs, we can coordinate inspection and documentation with a suitable manufacturing partner. Our network includes partners operating under recognized quality systems.
Certification availability, scope, and applicability depend on the specific partner selected for the project. Please identify any required certification, material traceability, inspection reports, or other documentation when submitting your RFQ so we can assess the appropriate manufacturing route.
IATF 16949
ISO 9001
AS9100D
ISO 13485
Partner certifications may include these systems; availability and scope depend on the selected partner.
Is BGCNC a fit for your EV parts project?
We are a strong fit for overseas B2B teams that:
- Source custom mechanical parts in low to medium volumes
- Have BOMs spanning multiple materials or manufacturing processes
- Need prototypes, repeat production, or support as quantities change
- Want one team to coordinate China-based suppliers and production
- Value quality, communication, delivery reliability, and total cost — not only the lowest unit price
Especially useful for
EV hardware companies
Battery & charging equipment developers
Thermal management suppliers
Test-equipment manufacturers
Engineering teams coordinating custom parts across several suppliers
Send us your EV parts RFQ
To help us review your project, include any available information:
- 2D drawings and 3D CAD files
- Material, finish, and critical tolerance requirements
- Quantity for prototypes and production, plus expected repeat demand
- Inspection, traceability, or certification requirements
- Target delivery date and shipping destination
- Any functional requirements related to weight, heat transfer, or conductivity
We’ll review the information, clarify open technical questions, and assess suitable manufacturing processes and suppliers. If you’re still comparing process options, send the drawings and expected quantities — we can discuss the trade-offs before you commit to a route.
